Covid19 Services Update

Steps/Terms of Service:
  1. The best way to book an appointment is to request a booking online!  We will be doing our best this week to answer phones and booking requests.  As much as we love to see you all please do not “drop in” to set an appointment.  We WILL NOT book appointments this way and will not accept any “walk-ins” at this time!
  2. When you come for your appointment, we ask that you DO NOT come into the shop, please wait at the front door and someone will come to you to retrieve your pet.  Instructions can be exchanged through the glass door or at a safe social distance outside of the shop!  We will be using our own leashes to bring your pet in the shop and ask that you hold on to your pet’s leash and collar!
  3. We will give you an expected time frame for your appointment, likely 2-4 hrs, and ask that you are timely in dropping off and picking up your pet.  We realize this may not be as convenient as our service has been in the past, but again this helps us limit human and pet interaction as much as possible  
  4. Payment- we have online payment available!  We ask that you pay via check or credit card during this time.  We ask that you do not pay in cash.  We will not have cash on hand and therefore will require EXACT change for cash payment as we will not exchange change to limit the handling and exchange of money!
  5. Pricing- due to limited and altered operations and the inability to function as we have normally in the past, there may be slightly higher pricing for certain services.  Furthermore, we may not be offering all of the same services at times due to the amount of work and time that can be required, such as dematting a severely matted dog!  
  6. Cancellation Policy- we will have a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect, meaning you have 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel.  We will charge $50 for any appointment that is canceled within 24 hours of your appointment AND charge $50 for any “NO SHOWS.”  We have been extremely lenient in the past to accommodate cancellations and no shows, but we can not do that this time!  Finally, while not likely, we reserve the right to cancel any or all appointments at any time!

     From the Lucky Dog Team, please understand that this is normally the busiest time of year and being closed for over a month during the busiest time of year will have created extremely high demand!!!  We will do our absolute best to book as many appointments as possible as soon as possible.  Please realize to protect all parties involved we are operating with a limited staff so please be patient as we do our best to book appointments and groom your pet’s!  The best way to book an appointment is to request a booking online!  If you call the shop you will very likely have to leave a phone message and wait for our response to book an appointment until we are up and running per usual!  Again, the best way to book an appointment is by requesting an appointment online!  THANK YOU!
